Individual players can train in single player mode against computer generated suspects. In single player mode, the player's teammates are also computer generated and can respond to the player's commands.
Teams of up to 12 people can train for arrest missions in multiplayer scenarios. In these scenarios, players train against other students or instructors acting as suspects.
In single player mode, students can naturally interact with teammates or suspects using the voice recognition feature.
The Advanced Arrest Trainer models a small city. Currently there are 5 missions across the city. Using a proprietary authoring system, new missions can be created in other parts of the city.
Students can practice arrest procedures with computer generated suspects or against other live players role playing as suspects
The AAT features missions for known and unknown vehicle stops.
The interface allows player's to issue context appropriate commands to suspects and teammates.
Each scenario has a list of suspects that can be activated. Each suspect's behavior can be set to various modes such as hostile or complaint.
